Prapancha Kanya is a new book about Indian Philosophy and Sciences in the second millennium (800-2000CE). Written by Dr. Gopal Kamal and Ritu Kamal, the book also discusses the Indian Diaspora, including that of the Roma people. It is a sequel to an earlier book Panch Kanya: A Novel Introduction to Indian Philosophy, published by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and nominated for the International Dublin Literary Award 2002.

Gypsy Jaatak (Purkhon ka Jaatak) is a dramatic representation of six Romani great-great…great-grandmothers, written by Dr. Gopal Kamal and directed by K. Krishna Rajan, with a troupe of actors from the National School of Drama and Sri Ram Centre. The trials and tribulations faced by these forgotten people of the Indian Diaspora in Europe find a voice in this play.
